I'm awake, I've a colicky 2 week old who stays up all night screaming even after trying everything suggested :/ what's sleep?!

Baconyum · 17/05/2016 04:21

Good luck just - tough job.

Nopel hope tomorrow is a better day/night for you.

Whenwillwe - as I said on parenting tips - incontinence pants! I have IBS and ocd so use them if the IBS flares up to avoid issues with the ocd Confused

Househunting sorry you're grieving your dad Flowers

Baconyum · 17/05/2016 04:22

nopel · 17/05/2016 04:49

Sorry about your dad house.

Congrats I can't, hope you get some sleep soon.

icklekid · 17/05/2016 06:03

nopel sorry am late to the party but your not me are you...I'm also 24 weeks horrendous insomnia and hypermesis is much worse when not rested! If you ever want to moan together do let me know!

Sorry to hear about colicky newborn icant my ds was horrendous and am dreading this baby being the same. Friends coming over and distracting for the evening was essential -prewarned about screaming baby of course! By 12 weeks it was gone- gripe water was most effective prior to that but can't remember when you can use it from. Tried all sorts prior to that. A baby massage course specifically for fussy babies was good to get to know other mums going through same thing even if I was never convinced the massage was particularly worth the effort!

Thanks bacon I'll get some if this continues. At the mo I have to be within 5 seconds of the loo. It's miserable.
Love to all those w pregnancy insomnia.

Thank you all for your good wishes, I am extatic to report that I have been offered the job following my interview his morning, so the sleepless night was well worth it! Hope all UK MNetters have a more restful night tonight. And (?) good morning to all the MNetters abroad :)

Meanwhile, in the world of insomnia nothing is happening, nothing stirred, not even a mouse. Oh, except me.
