DH: "You look great as [random Eurovision person], but awful as you."

AIBU to be feeling shite?

I said something similar to dh whilst he was wearing a blonde wig at a fancy dress party... as the character he looked fab but the blonde hair didn't actually suit him whatsoever.

I think I said "I love the costume but please don't ever think about dying your hair that colour!"

I guess a lot depends on the tone as well- we were having a giggle about it.

What a nasty thing to say! Is he always so horrible?
