Playing music in flat

When is it an acceptable time or should people just sit in headphones all day?
Is playing music from 1pm-3pm acceptable?

It's a no after or before those times between them it's ok

If they could tell what song it was It was too loud.

The issue isn't whether they can make noise and you can't. Doors shutting, footsteps etc are all normal living noises. Playing music at that level is just being an arsehole. Glad I don't live near you.
