Umm. MNHQ can't actually do that. No-one can.

All MNHQ can do is confirm if a poster has a 'history' on MN, checking old nicknames against IP address(es) for eg.

They can't actually say that a person is NOT a troll, or (as it is being used in this case) NOT a liar.

Wedding Cheque OP may be a very nice person who made up a story to post on MN. Or she could be a very nice person who is telling the truth - thing is, unless a member of the HQ staff was at the wedding/saw the email/knows the OP or bride - they can't say a story is true.

(Not casting nasturtiums obviously . I just don't want people being taken in by the next troll - of which there are many - thinking that MNHQ can actually make a difference here)

Thanks vardy. There's no malice behind what I am saying believe it or not. I just have seen people get really crapped on by trolls on here over and over again. It bugs me! And this one has gone viral and now we will get a ton more trolls in response.

Obviously I have no way of knowing if the OP is telling the truth either but on another thread someone linked a Huffington Post article from some time ago which told the same story so outlandish as it may seem it's not unique.
