What people have earned & accrued is there business, as is there choice as to whether to flaunt it or not. If you don't like it, don't read it

When successful people marry a spouse who is much younger than they are (the mother of the 2 sisters) and a model they tend to produce children who may be aren't as bright as they are. However I don't think it's unwise that the daughters have invested their money in large houses. Property is a wise investment.

A cautionary tale for ageing billionaires : don't marry models! Somehow I think the won't heed the call.

There's quite a lot of downside risk for astronomical real estate I should think.

" princess Charlotte got a £30k rattle for her birthday,"

I missed the k and still thought that was a lot to spend! BT also she's one isn't that too old for rattles?

when people 'earn or accrue' very large sums of money , it was not as a result of their own work alone . It was on the backs of many many poorer people who have been exploited by them.

"...it was not as a result of their own work alone . It was on the backs of many many poorer people who have been exploited by them."

All too true, and global inequality, and the workings of certain commodities markets, are a crying shame. As is the tiny amount of government aid budget that we, one of the richest nations on earth, ring fences for aid.

I know that how the aid budget is spent can be problematic, but I was thinking more of the the overall amount that goes from the wealthy to the poor.

in my experience these 'super rich' are usually children fo those who worked for their money and have no real concept of monetary value.

But each to their own - if they want to drop 10 g on a playhouse or a crystal bath or custom shoes then there is someone out there profiting from it
