DS, 21m, was in a vest, cotton pjs and a duvet the night before last and was sweaty. Last night was in a tshirt and jogging bottom style pants with a woollen crocheted blanket over him and at 5am, he was cold even though the room was 20 degrees.

Any suggestions would be fab. Thanks

2yr old cotton t shirt style short sleeve pj to and nappy. Light weight fleece blanket to kick off.
4yr old naked with duvet (couldn't be bothered with a fight to put pj's on).

DS (22 months) wore just short sleeved cotton pjs last night but his room was still 21 degrees plus after midnight. Recently though just a onesie sleep suit at night. I tend to check his body temperature as I go to bed and add a blanket if needed then. He has always kicked it off before morning. His room temperature varies a lot as it is an extension on an exposed bit of the house so three walls subject to outside temperatures. Layers that I can or remove without waking him are the only thing that help us.

my 2 are sweaty betties so both just in pants last night. if i had a baby would hav just put them in a vest last night i think. our house was boiling!

I just put them in oversized tees hurts and a nappy when it was really hot. Older is oversized teeshirt and shorts. It's easy on the wallet.

My son can get quite hot and we've recently graduated from a 1 tog sleeping bacg to his duvet but I may way just pop him in a cotton long sleeve pj top in his sleeping bag. His arms felt like ice when he woke at 5am.

Why is it when we sleep with our arms out the covers, they dont feel cold til we wake up?! Confused
