No idea if this is allowed (I have name changed btw) but I was looking through some of their articles and found one which I really don't think is right to be on there.

It was about a lady's little boy who had passed away.

I went to click on the thread, but it says it has been deleted while they see what has gone on? I never read the thread so I don't know what that's about.

AIBU to think that was probably the worst story they could have chosen? Sad

I thought that thread was deleted for privacy reasons?

AQuestion123 · 09/05/2016 13:35

I don't think they suspected troll, it just says 'why we see what has been going on' I thought that may have been because people were moaning about the article?

Yes, they took a story of a lady's grief and spoke all about it on there, totally unacceptable

I assume they lifted a thread from here that was subsequently deleted. There were a few threads a little while ago because the DM had lifted a thread about a bereaved mother IIRC.

No it is not allowed - doing that will only encourage them.

Why the namechange for this?

Thelonewanderer · 09/05/2016 13:40

Sparkling I think I'd namechange if I admitted to reading the daily fail to be fair Grin

I didn't want to have been jumped at for talking about the Daily Mail!

I saw a story today in The Huffington Post about a thread I read on here last week - the one where the OP asked if she was unreasonable to dislike her friends 3 year old DD. I was quite shocked to realise journo's are just lifting threads for articles. It seems really lazy and intrusive to me.

Sounds sad
