Belfast is fantastic.

AdoraKiora · 07/05/2016 11:25

I'd stay in London but live somewhere with amazing river views.

NoelHeadbands · 07/05/2016 11:33

There are places all over the uk where I think...'ohh this would be nice' but really I'm very happy to stay where I am (w yorks)

I've been known to stop the car not 2 mins from my own house and yell at the kids

'look- just LOOK at that- do you know how lucky you are?!'

and they grunt and mumble something in reply, much like I would have done at their age

Portmeirion - my favourite place.

Otherwise, the Peak District where I grew up - utterly stunning. I quite like where I live now but regret ever moving away at 18.

daisydukes34 · 07/05/2016 12:37

Cornwall

I'm from York but the place where I'd love to live anywhere in the UK is where I do now. North Yorkshire countryside close to Co. Durham. One of the best things in ever did was move up here.

70 Tadcaster road is where you're thinking of in York.

LadyMonica I live near Richmond, North Yorkshire and I agree with you. It's where I want to live in the UK.

The only place I'd want to move to is a bit further towards Darlington if I decide I wanted to be closer to town.

If I could choose anywhere in the world it would be the French riviera. We go there every year and love it down there.

Cornwall. Somewhere near the sea. Even in winter I bloody love a good sandy beach.

It's actually cheaper to rent down there than our current place, so it would be feasible, but no jobs in my DH's industry. Sad

Liverpool
We have good culture, nice green spaces, but Wales is only an hour away.

This made me laugh as it seems to imply that when you fancy some bad culture and awful grey spaces you can go to Wales!!

Sorry Word not so far as I know. Confusing you with someone else I talk to on social media I think. Her profile would fit your user name. As you were Grin

I passed through your neck of the woods twice today (not Orford, although we have holidayed there, so small world and all that)

SavageBeauty73 · 10/05/2016 23:42

London.

PixieMiss · 10/05/2016 23:43

In one of those apartments above Harrods! I would send my butler down all throughout the day for my meals and snacks! The lifestyle just looks fascinating!

Failing that, I would stay put in West Yorkshire.

ParanoidGynodroid · 11/05/2016 00:05

Another Gower dweller here, can't believe there are so many of us! I feel like I'm on permanent holiday and don't want to live anywhere else.

DeliveredByKiki · 11/05/2016 00:21

Expat calling and I miss London as though I'd left my right arm and hack my heart there

Always been a city girl but I love a country escape so can I have two - one near the coast in Dorset and a London home and switch between the two?

BigbyWolf · 11/05/2016 00:49

I already live here. Cornwall.

But if I had to choose somewhere else I'd say the Lake District, Cheddar or somewhere in Midsomer (if it existed).
