Who gets the internet

I won't be biased here.

One of us want's to watch a program on the internet and the other wants to download something. One of us was downloading first and the other just wanted to watch something.The download is now going to take 3x as long as it should and the program will be a much lower quality. who should get internet priority.

Time to upgrade your Internet provider.

Although I think you really need a better connection, you should be able to download and watch something without problems.

How long would the program be?
What was the download and how long would it have took?
Was it an important download?

If it wasn't important I would have paused the download, watched the program and then restarted the download but my answer may change depending on the questions above

The download would've been another half an hour and it wasn't that important and the program was 40 mins long.

Could the program have been watched straight after the download or would it have been a one time thing?

The downloader. My internet connection is awful though. One film on iTunes took 3 weeks!

If the watcher could only have watched it when the downloader needed it, I would have paused it
