To think it's weird to have a bath in the morning

OH loves his baths and has one in the morning and one at night if he can.

Surely fresh invigorating showers are for the morning and deep relaxing baths are for nighttime??

I love baths when my dc were small we started every day with a big splashy family bath (double Jacuzzi). Any day that starts with a bath is always a good day, I have long thick hair and have to stand in the shower for ages to get it wet let alone shampoos and conditioned I much prefer to wash it in the bath and rinse with the shower attachment. I only shower in an emergency and use a very fetching Sanctuary bright orange showercap so I don't have to do my hair.

Good point Liz70 just asked dh and he says our shower is crap as was the one in my last house and hes pointed out that t i left the double Jacuzzi when I left dh1 it's also no longer the eighties and perhaps I could embrace something new not a chance in hell

I would rather not wash for a week than have a bath. And shaving in the bath?! That's so gross, all your hair floating around in the water.

hetero - ah well, we live in an old mansion block and the hot water comes off the service charge so it's the same gobsmacking £10,000 a year regardless of how much we use - otherwise he would have to be rationed! (I don't feel guilty as I spent the first 9 years after buying the flat living here by myself and barely used any of the services due to being out/away all the time. Sometimes I miss being carefree and young and single, as I stop typing this to change another nappy...)

What's good enough for the 2nd Mrs. De Winter is good enough for the rest of us!

Mind you, she didn't come down until "somewhat after nine" in the morning and Maxim had been up for hours. Doesn't say whether or not he'd had a morning dip himself.

And the Chalet School girls all had their icy cold morning baths, too...
