DS (5) swearing.....

Ex h and I separated two years ago.

We have 3 DC 5,7 & 10.

DC (5) told me he knew a really bad word. I told him I'd rather not know. DC (10) piped up she knew what it was, it began with 'C'...

Ex swears a lot. I hoped he'd manage to keep a lid on it around the DC though but apparently he regularly uses the word cunt.

I'm furious.

He's also planning to let them all watch the hunger games this weekend Hmm.....

It bloody one thing after another.

Our relationship is strained to say the least. He owes me over £1k in underpaid maintenance and is now taking me to court for 50/50 shared care.

Aibu about the swearing?

No YANBU! He should watch his mouth around his kids.

Hunger games not at all suitable for the 2 younger DC IMHO. Keep until a child is 14+ I think.

YANBu about the swearing.
YANBU about the younger two watching the movie, though.
YANBU about the unpaid maintenance.

I'm not sure why you'd keep a 12 certificate to 14+, beezie it's definitely more violent than many 12s though, and had to be trimmed to get it down from a 15.

Is it definitely cunt? Ds said similar and it turned out to actually be crap. The hunger games is definitely not suitable. Poor child will be frightened Sad
