There she was, on a night out, free from her 3 kids for an evening. What do they do but treat her to images of her kids kicking footballs, jumping on sofa, chucking flour on the floor...her suffering didn't end there but I stopped paying attention, felt so annoyed for her!

I don't know.

If she was annoyed then YANBU.

If she wasn't, and quite enjoyed her 'moment of fame', then you're wasting your energy being pissed off on her behalf.

Whoever set it up, must know her better than anyone here on Mumsnet.

EveryoneElsie · 16/04/2016 22:56

Thats like putting someone on This is Your Life and showing only the crap bits. You'd be stuck there being all polite and gritting your teeth.
I'd tell them to stop wasting my night off and walk out Grin

nocakes · 16/04/2016 22:58

Well I thought she looked a bit fed up but went along with it sportingly. But I could be wrong. Maybe just projecting. Cos I would've been well annoyed!

if they showed me my kids chucking flour on the floor they had better be fast with the bleep button

kilmuir · 16/04/2016 23:03

poor woman on such a shitty programme. She did get her ensuite finished though

nocakes · 16/04/2016 23:11

Oh ok well that sounds like a bit of consolation kilmuir, I didn't get as far as that. Was so indignant I looked elsewhere for a bit!

I couldn't see that she won anything for them being sent to run round for fake tan mitts and hairclips.

What on earth was the point of it?

nocakes · 16/04/2016 23:21

I have no idea. Even McIntyre himself seemed a bit uneasy. Stupid ill-conceived idea

I suspect that the crew clean up after. Just saying

Babyroobs · 16/04/2016 23:23

Wasn't her 'prize' getting the messy en-suite sorted out?

nocakes · 16/04/2016 23:24

Yeah I suppose so but why not just let someone have an unspoiled night out.....

But do they do it properly? I'd be fuming thinking of what i was going home to 'put right'.

LaConnerie · 16/04/2016 23:28

nocakes in the nicest possible way, are you ok?

GunnyHighway · 16/04/2016 23:31

I reckon they take pics to make sure that they leave the property straight

Theimpossiblegirl · 16/04/2016 23:33

I completely agree with you, OP. My kids found it hilarious. I told them they had better never try something like that...

nocakes · 16/04/2016 23:34

😂 😂 No I think I am a bit bored if I'm honest!!!

But thanks to those who have understood my rage!
