Just watching What Stays in Vegas and was horrified by the fake domestic violence scene in an attempt at humour. How could Cameron Diaz and Aston Kutcher agree to that?

It's a film - not sure it's available to link without being illegal.
Aston Kutcher's character gets friends to hit him so that he can claim he's being abused by Cameron Diaz's character in a marriage counselling session.
The rest of the filmis very light hearted so both DP and I were surprised at this scene.
