We are buying a new build house. It includes washer dryer, oven, fridge freezer and a shed!!

But has no dishwasher?

AIBU to think in a 4 bed house a dishwasher would come high up on list?

Surely it's a standard white goods product nowadays?

TeaBelle · 16/04/2016 20:50

I'd rather have the extra cupboard space than a dishwasher, I wouldn't see it as standard at all. If it bothers you can't you just buy one?

annandale · 16/04/2016 20:52

Common but not quite standard yet IMO. Clearly not having one is not enough to stop you buying the house, so they've called it right and avoided another £400 cost to them.

We can put one in, but a shed on proper foundations and not a dishwasher. DH is pleased.
