Fresh back from half term and got a letter today saying there will be another non-school uniform day to celebrate the queens birthday, kids to dress as royalty.

So far since septemeber we have had ( that I can remember),

Sports Relief Day
Anti Bullying week non uniform day
Worldbook day
Red nose day
Crazy hair day
International day
A day where they were raising money for the school they could wear what they wanted.
A day where they had to dress up as superheroes I cant remember what that was for.

I cant be bothered anymore to put any effort into the costume and just end up letting them wear what they want then pay the pound at the gate.

YANBU.

I never wanted or saw the need to be that involved in their school activities.

Only a pound? Ours is £2 Envy Gets on my nerves too; I try to 'forget'

Try having all that with an aspie child!

8 days in 9 months is too much hassle for you?

Do you live in some crazy-competative place where the kids costume has to be amazing? Otherwise it's a BU from me.

YABU. Children generally love these days. They make fun changes from the norm.

My DC attend a school with NO uniform. Imagine that!
