I have a bugaboo Cameleon which I love but is getting far too small.

I have a McLaren Volo which is fine for size, but completely unsuitable. I can only use it in airports or city centers.

Can anyone please recommend a great all-terrain buggy/stroller that would be suitable for a 3 year old, so I could take it on the beach, in the woods, or for a run?

You could look in the prams section where there are many threads recommending such things.

Baby Jogger City Mini

vvviola · 07/04/2016 11:04

Mountain buggy Swift.

Had one for DD2. It was brilliant. Goes up to 35kg also. We ended up putting DD1 in it once, aged 5, when she injured herself on a walk.

I was very sad to see it go, when DD2 didn't need it anymore.

Baby Jogger city mini isn't all terrain but they do one that is (summit I think). I didn't have that one but baby joggers are generally good. I have the sn all terrain version for older children.

honkinghaddock · 07/04/2016 11:22

Just checked, the gt version of the city mini is all terrain.

UnagiZanshin · 07/04/2016 11:30

thank you all, a lot to check. The pram shops near me only sell baby/ toddler prams, and I couldn't see anything online!

Depends what your budget is really

Out n about is what I've got. My 3 year old fits in it perfectly and it's lovely on all terrain. However it is the cheapest

If I had the budget I would love to try a mountain buggy

Another vote for the Out and About nipper 360. It is brilliant. We picked up a second hand one on ebay a few years ago and since then it's been used most days and taken an absolute hammering over all kinds of footpaths, terrain etc and is still going strong.

Notso · 07/04/2016 11:55

Out and About nipper is fantastic for an older child. I have easily pushed my teenage DD in it over a muddy beach to save her beloved trainers.

Babyjogger elite is also really good.

getintothegrove · 07/04/2016 12:05

Correction: City Mini Jogger GT with the solid tyres. It's been on a LOT of beaches!

Or for if you are a faster runner, Bob Revolution

SovietKitsch · 08/04/2016 00:05

I've got a babyjogger elite, It's pretty good at off-roading and quite large. I love it!

lostscot · 08/04/2016 08:55

We had a Jane 360, it went everywhere and really good sized seat.

BikeRunSki · 08/04/2016 08:57

Another vote for the Out n About 360. There's a Facebook buy/sell group if you'd consider second hand.

HighwayDragon1 · 08/04/2016 09:06

Jane 360/Jane pro gets my vote

inlawsfromhell · 08/04/2016 09:21

We had Jane pro amazing pram would go over all terrain! I walk 4 mile school run all off road and it would go over mud and snow easily, I spendoat of the day outside walking so needed a good strong pram that could take woods (not pathed), beach and back tracks. Also when pushing up a hill it didn't feel like I was pushing it was no effort and if you get a flat it takes 12" tyres that we got from the bike shop for £1.
