The DC have been binge-watching Ben and Holly on YouTube and various conversations between WOF/GT caught my ear.

Hmm. I think the scriptwriters have deliberately kept it ambiguous for the desperate parents, myself. Grandpa Thistle is so utterly bonkers, I suspect he wouldn't have actually minded or noticed.

It's been ages since I saw Ben and Holly but I always thought there was a frisson between Nanny Plum and Wise Old Elf.

Nanny Plum barely contains her contempt for the Wise Old Elf, are you mad?! They're the least compatible cartoon couple since Tom and Jerry. And he must be, what, twice Nanny Plum's age!

Ben and Holly is awesome. They even have a mayor based on Boris Johnson. Genius.
