Gaviscon from at this time of night? Anyone know if the Esso station might sell it?

The telco garage near me sells it if that's any good?

DottyButtons · 03/04/2016 00:41

*tesco.
Why not call your garage and ask?

Summerwood1 · 03/04/2016 00:42

Thanks for your reply. Don't think we gave one of those garages here. I'm in Derby.

All 24 hour garages should stock it x

Catzpyjamas · 03/04/2016 00:43

Have you got bicarbonate of soda? Teaspoonful in a glass of water helps. Our local esso sells gaviscon.

Vintage45 · 03/04/2016 00:43

I hated gaviscon. Rennie are better and all garages sell them. Poor you!

BeagBoo · 03/04/2016 00:46

If you have a banana give that a go.

DoJo · 03/04/2016 00:48

Or melon - I ate loads when I had pregnancy heartburn and it really helped.

Summerwood1 · 03/04/2016 00:48

Thanks for all the advice. I shall go and see if they have any,not answering phone.

You need Zantac take two tablets not one if it's really bad.

FirstWeTakeManhattan · 03/04/2016 01:08

I've nibbled the children's chalk in an emergency.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 03/04/2016 01:11

Milk?
I had heartburn in both pg (sign that you're going to have a hairy baby Grin
I drank pints, sometimes 4 pints a day.
And small amounts of ice cream.

possum18 · 03/04/2016 01:43

Rennies are the best, failing that if I had nothing in the house it would be milk / milkshake or yoghurt!

Tangofandango · 03/04/2016 05:26

I had heartburn/acid reflux for years. Aloe juice cured it.

Summerwood1 · 03/04/2016 10:46

Thanks eveyone, I managed to get a bottle of gaviscon at silly o'clock from the the Esso. It worked really well!
