Because it's always an insult.

But no-one is ever named.

If you do it, what do you mean? Why do you do it?

Does it ever cross your mind that long-standing, non-name-changing posters might be very hurt by your accusations?

If you're going to do it, have the courage of your convictions and name names.

I think Queen Maryz does have a certain ring to it.

Even if it does sound a bit Ali G.

NeedACleverNN · 02/04/2016 22:09

Damn! There goes my chance of getting out poverty

Who have I got to suck up to around here to succeed?!

Trills · 02/04/2016 22:09

A question - is "Blowing smoke up someone's arse" something that is appreciated by the blow-ee?

PaulAnkaTheDog · 02/04/2016 22:11

Oh shut up!

Flumplet · 02/04/2016 22:11

Me please cleverNN Brew and Cake will do nicely!

WorraLiberty · 02/04/2016 22:11

I think it's only mildly acceptable to vape up someone's arse now.

Smoking is out.

paxillin · 02/04/2016 22:13

Not enough research has been done to show vaping up somebody's posterior doesn't cause arse cancer, so that's out.

NeedACleverNN · 02/04/2016 22:13

Aaaah

And here is your Brew and Cake m'lady

Flumplet · 02/04/2016 22:14

Can we steer clear of stuff up arses. We're not on the sex topic after all. It might show in active threads

DioneTheDiabolist · 02/04/2016 22:14

I've been here a long time and consider myself MNRoyalty.Grin

But more Hungarian than UK royalty. You know the sort whose name is recognised by Paris society types and regarded with suspicion by Turks.

Flumplet · 02/04/2016 22:15

I sometimes think there is unwritten code about which I know nothing.

Me too. The amount of times I've had to google 'phrases' which take me to a crazy/hilarious thread.

trashcanjunkie · 02/04/2016 22:18

Can someone explain the moldies saga please? I missed it. And can someone else please post some stuff after this comment as I've become a thread killer of late. Oh, and for years I thought MN royalty was the MN staff..... Blush

MitzyLeFrouf · 02/04/2016 22:19

In my experience all internet forums have 'royalty'. Some people kowtow to them but likewise some people purposely want to lock horns with them. Ying and yang, it all evens itself out.

NeedACleverNN · 02/04/2016 22:20

I wasn't around for Moldies but what I can gather is some of the old regulars got the hump that there was so many newbies, they wanted their own private space where they can invite the people they want.

Other posters got offended because they wasn't invited and it turned into a good old fashioned play ground brawl

AlleyCatandRastaMouse · 02/04/2016 22:20

I sometimes think there is unwritten code about which I know nothing

That is how I feel in life so Mumsnet is not different.

UmbongoUnchained · 02/04/2016 22:21

I've only ever seen it used as an insult.
I think I have a general idea of who the royalty are. I usually disagree with most of the things they say so I don't think I'll ever receive my telegram.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 02/04/2016 22:21

Grin @ I thought MN royalty was the MN staff

An easy mistake to make....hand your crown over to Olivia maryz

Trills · 02/04/2016 22:23

Olivia is President, not Royalty, isn't she?

NeedACleverNN · 02/04/2016 22:24

Nah more like god

Peyia · 02/04/2016 22:24

I had to google Moldiea, think there is a DM article about it or was that Penisbeaker??

Either one the poster known as vinegertits is a legend.
