KLAXON: To be furious with myself for telling my son

Sistersweet · 29/03/2016 17:25

That he had a huge great big blackhead in his ear. I spent all day working out how to get at it and had decided on hot compresses followed by a firm squeeze using two ear buds. He even let me take a photo of it. It was the first thing he asked me to look at as he got in the car from school and then he did something terrible, he started trying to squeeze it HIMSELF, and it burst EVERYWHERE and I didn't even get a chance to even touch it. My day is ruined, I tell you, ruined.

ConcernedParent88 · 29/03/2016 17:28

You do realise you have to post the picture now!

Sistersweet · 29/03/2016 17:29

I so wish I could but he has grabbed my phone and deleted it from recent deleted but it was truly fabulous. I'm gutted

GreyAndGoldInTheMeadow · 29/03/2016 17:29

Gross. I did not need to read that. A warning on this thread is a must.

JennyOnAPlate · 29/03/2016 17:29

Ground him, take away his phone/iPad/tv and make him do his own washing for a month. He won't do it again.

Vintage45 · 29/03/2016 17:30

Stay silent and keep em peeled, they sometimes return even bigger and better.

MajesticSeaFlapFlap · 29/03/2016 17:30

Id pack him up and ship him off.

My teen boy knows to leave the gooduns for me or face an earbashing and a night of me sulking.

Sistersweet · 29/03/2016 17:30

I'm sorry I forgot the warnings but punishments are definitely in order. May MN could add a warning to the title

OP posts:
ImperialBlether · 29/03/2016 17:32

There really should be a warning on a thread like this. Not everyone likes disgusting things. Maybe MN could have a klaxon area where all likeminded people could gather?

LynetteScavo · 29/03/2016 17:33

Where in the world goes to school today?

Sistersweet · 29/03/2016 17:33

You are right, I should have put a warning. I apologise

OP posts:
MrsJayy · 29/03/2016 17:34

Aye all the grossness in 1 dark and grimy corner of mumsnet

TheCrimsonPleb · 29/03/2016 17:36

A-ha! Is this that Sporn thing again?

SantanaBinLorry · 29/03/2016 17:38

vile. And a little weird imagining poking away at your kid like that...?
I must be missing g something?

DoJo · 29/03/2016 17:38

Where in the world goes to school today?

Lots of schools in Hertfordshire.

CakeUpWall · 29/03/2016 17:40

I'd be telling him to pack his bags.

Chippednailvarnish · 29/03/2016 17:42

Can you work out how to undelete the pic?

RoseDog · 29/03/2016 17:46

Ah now this might might not be the end, when my DD attempts to get her own blackheads she doesn't do it right, doesn't get them right out and they come back BIGGER and BETTER just bide your time OP!

JeanSeberg · 29/03/2016 17:50

And Manchester

TheFormidableMrsC · 29/03/2016 17:51

I second Hertfordshire....strange holidays here this year!

VulcanWoman · 29/03/2016 17:53

If you're lucky it might be a recurring one, now, is this possible. An investigation is needed.

Sistersweet · 29/03/2016 17:54

Rosedog I live in hope, he's still laughing at the fact that I'm so completely gutted

OP posts:
KinkyAfro · 29/03/2016 17:55

Yup, in Manchester the kids are in school. We have family in Scotland and their kids are in school this week too

RoseDog · 29/03/2016 17:57
