Lovely, but does a house really need an en-suite for every room and no family bathroom??

Bnb or student accom.

BillSykesDog · 27/03/2016 13:19

It's a bnb

acasualobserver · 27/03/2016 13:26

That was quick.

GlitteryFluff · 27/03/2016 13:27

Look at those views Shock so beautiful

PennyHasNoSurname · 27/03/2016 13:30

Hmo?
B&b?

TheHiphopopotamus · 27/03/2016 13:38

It looks like it was/is a B n B.

mummymeister · 27/03/2016 13:40

we brought a house with sinks in the bedrooms. very easy to block the pipes off and remove. we left the pipework in place in case we ever wanted to put in an ensuite in one of the rooms or when we eventually sell up it might appeal to the new people.

PennyHasNoSurname · 27/03/2016 13:41

《Cough》 bought

originalmavis · 27/03/2016 13:44

What an eensy weensy kitchen!

Trills · 27/03/2016 13:46

Don't understand what being terraced has to do with it?

LottieDoubtie · 27/03/2016 13:47

It has got a family bathroom? And a reasonably sized kitchen, the small rooms the utility.

Looks like a BnB to me too!

mummymeister · 27/03/2016 13:48

thanks Penny!! I always make spelling mistakes when I am hungry. need to eat a banana before I post again. Grin

CamboricumMinor · 27/03/2016 13:48

It's relevant being a terrace because why would you want to take up space with en-suites if you have smaller rooms.

I think it's a nice house, and those views. The 5 en suites are more than likely they use it as a B&B

miwelaisjacydo · 27/03/2016 13:52

It's a B and B Tenby is a real seaside town. It's absolutely beautiful .

JasperDamerel · 27/03/2016 13:55

But terraces aren't necessarily small at all.

Queenie73 · 27/03/2016 13:57

I used to go to Tenby every week for swimming lessons when I was a nipper, it's a lovely place.
Do terraced houses always have smaller rooms than detached? I live in a detached hovel and my relatives have a huuuge terraced house in a city. Their house is much bigger than mine and have far more bathrooms. the rooms are bigger too, with lovely high ceilings. I'm not at all jealous, no Sir, not me.

leopardgecko · 27/03/2016 14:02

Because B&B guests would almost always prefer a smaller bedroom with an en suite than a larger bedroom with shared facilities.

Stratter5 · 27/03/2016 14:03

Wow that could be amazing, those views, I didn't know Tenby beach was so lovely.

XiCi · 27/03/2016 14:10

There are some huge Georgian terraces near where I live. Terraced houses are not all smaller than semi detached or detached by any means. Surely that's obvious?
Also obvious that it is/was a b&b.
Not sure what the point of the thread is.

miwelaisjacydo · 27/03/2016 14:11

strattee Tenby has two beaches and both are lovely and huge.

ClashCityRocker · 27/03/2016 14:35

IT doesn't look like the bedrooms are too bad a size.

But yeah, deffo a B and B set up I think. Or at least it was at one point and it would seem odd to take out full en suites to make a bigger bedroom if the bedrooms are a reasonable size with them in.

Lovely house though...

DessertOrDesert · 27/03/2016 14:36

Terraces don't have to be small!
for example, I've been in one similar to this and it was bladdy lovely! OK, so one small bedroom, but don't most houses have one room smaller than the rest?

AlisonWunderland · 27/03/2016 14:41

I assume that there is a shop or something underneath it on the ground floor.
The floor plan looks like half the floor area consists of landings and stairs!
Wonderful views though!

tinyterrors · 27/03/2016 18:35

Tenby is gorgeous. I've been a few times and I'd love to live there, I've got loads of family within an hour of Tenby. I've walked past that house and there's amazing views from there. The beach it's next to is lovely.

The floor plan is rubbish though, loads of space is lost to landing and hallways.

If I had the money I'd buy it and redo the whole layout.
