I'm considering the Silver Cross Surf 2/Wayfarer... Looking for other inspiration!

Oyster 2 here...it's lovely and comfy for DS...and looks great.

Paulat2112 · 27/03/2016 20:45

We had the bugaboo donkey duo and it was the best pram I have EVER had! :)

TimeToMuskUp · 27/03/2016 20:48

Stokke Xplory. Loved it as it was so much higher than the others we tried out. DS2 spent 99% of the first year of his life in a sling on my front due to reflux, though, so it was hardly used. And the suspension wasn't great; it was a tootling-about-John-Lewis pushchair as opposed to a rugged outdoorsy sort.

NoCakeLeft · 27/03/2016 20:57

Had Bugaboo Frog (got it second hand, woman I got it from used it for 10 years/3 children). Couple of months ago got Bee. Both are awesome.

Binkybix · 27/03/2016 21:09

City jogger mini. Amazing! Only down sides - not parent facing (1st DC didn't care, second does) and wide-ish for buses.

Jelliebabe1 · 27/03/2016 21:19

Love my out n about nipper 360 double but probably didn't have as !much choice having twins. Very easy to handle and fold. Looks good

Jelliebabe1 · 27/03/2016 21:19

Ooooooh and doesn't cost the EARTH!

Yika · 27/03/2016 21:38

iCandy cherry and Britax B-Agile. Both good; really loved the iCandy which was more expensive and you could tell. Very good quality. Light and easy to manoeuvre. Got the whole travel system.

KathySelden · 27/03/2016 21:43

Mama and papas Sola, I love it and recommend it all the time, great for long walks in the wood with the doggy etc.

switswoo81 · 27/03/2016 21:47

Bugaboo cam 3. Love it. Takes up the whole boot of my juke though. Used it as a cot downstairs and at my parents for 6 months.
Got a armadillo city for holiday but find I'm spoilt with the cam for manoeuvre ability and handlebar height so it's living under the bed.

Out n about nipper - an absolute revelation. I did a lot of research for my specs and ironically first came across it on a zombie mumsnet thread but it ticks every box for me and I've not looked back since getting it.

TiverMeShimbers · 27/03/2016 21:59

I didn't think I'd love a buggy more than the Bugaboo Frog that I had for DC1 & 2.

But for #3 I bought a Micralite Fastfold once he'd grown out of the carseat and it was amazing. In the very unlikely scenario that I would have to purchase a new pram I'd definitely get the Micralite Toro system (has carrycot & carseat adapters). So easy to manouvre, one handed push, one hand fold, folds super small, big back wheels for country walks & is dead light. Loved it.

Mothersruin75 · 27/03/2016 22:01

I have a Chameleon and a nipper 360 double. Really rate both buggies. The Chameleon is 7 years old and still going strong for DC4, used the car seat adapters this time and that's been a revelation. However, I must admit I prefer my nipper, it's a dream to push, has better storage, comfier seats for the kids (or appears that way), it folds down really easy and is very light, we used it from newborn with our DTs. I love the look of both the double and single nippers.

TheCrumpettyTree · 27/03/2016 22:04

I have a bugaboo bee and still use it for my toddler. Much easier to steer one handed than a maclaren as it has one handlebar across. I still love it four years on and use it for my second.

FankEweVeryMuch · 27/03/2016 22:07

I've had a bugaboo cameleon, bee, maclarens, P&T doubles and an Uppababy cruz (2015 edition). The cameleon and cruz have been the best, if pushed I prefer the cruz aesthetically.

Those were over the course of 4 children, not all for one child.

FankEweVeryMuch · 27/03/2016 22:09

Oh and a baby jogger city mini that was brilliant. If they parent faced then that's what I would have bought for DC4 but the cruz won in the end.

I had a Mothercare Xpedior (which I note is now £150 more than I paid for mine), and you couldn't pay me to have another one. It was clunky, heavy, hard to push, basket was nothing to write home about, and big when folded. I disliked it. But it was cheap (got it at 50% off, made it £100).

Moved on to Maclaren XT, which isn't ideal, but folds smaller - umbrella fold - but the big downsides are v small basket which is inaccessible if you hang a normal sized change bag, and impossible to push one handed!

Shesinfashion · 27/03/2016 22:22

My babies are big now but I had a Quinny Buzz with the first and a Phil n Teds when the second DD came along.

Pollaidh · 27/03/2016 22:25

Uppababy Vista. They're very popular round here. The thinking woman's Bugaboo Wink

Great brake - you press down to brake AND to release. Great if you've had any SPD problems as there's no hooking up with your foot.
Enormous basket. Biggest on market.
Great customer service - we had a problem with a brake and they gave us one to borrow whilst they fixed ours.
Easy to steer and push.
The super integrated sun visor covers most of the pram/pushchair and does away with the need for parasols and muslins and pegs.
Easy to collapse and set up.
The cot is spacious - our baby ended up sleeping in it for a while.
Sturdy.
A lot was included for your money - more than for the Bugaboo, which was our other possibility.

Downside - certainly 2 years ago the footmuff was extra and hideous. JoJo do a nice black and sheepskin one that fits really well.

HelenF35 · 27/03/2016 22:25

Joie chrome. Folds really small, easy to push, can add a maxi cosy car seat or a joie one and it's a reasonable price.

eurochick · 27/03/2016 22:34

Uppababy cruz. It's not quite as much of a beast as the vista (although still quite big and heavy) which was useful for public transport and busy London pavements. It's easy to steer and the built in sun visor is useful. I prefer slings though, except around shopping centres when the basket is useful.

We also have an umbrella fold chicco London for holidays but probably shouldn't have bothered tbh. We don't really need two.

mrsmugoo · 27/03/2016 22:35

Uppababy cruz which I absolutely love but with hindsight wished I bought the vista for the ability to add second seat and also the larger wheels would have coped with the cobble streets a bit better. But I still love the cruz.

eurochick · 27/03/2016 22:36

I forgot, another benefit of the cruz is that the carrycot is OK to use for naps, so we didn't bother with a Moses basket. This was helpful as we were trying to sell our house and wanted to keep clutter to a minimum.
