To ask if any of you have bought a Neff oven with touch controls in last 6 months?

Hi there, desperately trying to choose appliances for new kitchen. Ha decided on slide and hide door which only Neff do. Want single oven and microwave combi but the combi is now only available in the new premium range with touch screen controls. Reading online reviews and forums, it seems the Neff touchscreen controls are really poor and don't work properly. Anyone have one who can comment? Mumsnet is my go to when making decisions like this and can't find any mention.

I wish we could just stick with old fashioned knobs!

We bought a Neff combi microwave oven and a Neff oven with slide and hide door. We also have De Dietrich four ring hob with touch controls which has never given us any problems at all. However, the Neff ovens are a different story. My wife has no problems powering on both Neff products, but for the life of me I have problems turning turning on the combi microwave oven. I can spend minutes trying all different variations I.e. Hard press, soft press, using all fingers individually and still I can't get the cursed thing to turn on, then for no accountable reason it turns on. We are eventually contacting the shop tomorrow, but what I have read on this forum give me no optimism that it will be fixed!,

Does anyone else still have problems with the Neff touchscreen ovens?

I’m wondering if this issue been resolved with updated hardware or firmware?

I have 2 ovens both with the same issue : a combo microwave and a steam oven. the touch screen intermittently doesn’t respond regardless of who using it (and it’s very annoying).
It seems unlikely I have a faulty part on both, hoping maybe a firmware issue but very difficult to speak to anyone at Neff that can actually investigate this.

Neff deny that they have any known problem with the touch screen on their ovens.
My oven touch screens seem to be worse first thing in the mornings when it is cold.
