To clearly be jealous of other people's births on OBEM?

Hang on, that woman on OBEM just asked for a c section - before they'd even got her induction underway in any meaningful way - and NOBODY TOLD HER SHE WAS GOING TO DIE. The doctor didn't freak out, she didn't have to have a shouty row with him or any of his (or her) colleagues sent to talk her out of it, she didn't have to undergo hours of drips, drugs, patronising midwives and a growing sense of unease, only to finally have to wait for an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT DOCTOR to come on shift for her wishes to be respected.

AIBU to think this only happens on TV? I mean look, she hasn't even been driven to sobbing let alone full-blown hysterics. Ridiculous.

Um, yeah, and I'm clearly venting and a tad bit jealous. IABU aren't I!!

We discussed this on tell addicts and came to the conclusion there was a big discussion about it that was edited for the camera
