In parliament yesterday he said that he has a:
"deeply-held conviction that everyone in Britain should have the chance to make the most of their lives"
and
"Securing our economy, extending opportunity: we will continue with this approach, in full, because we are a modern, compassionate one-nation Conservative government,"
Does he actually believe his own self-congratulatory rhetoric? Does he think that anyone listening will just take his words as gospel? Or that the more often he says it the more real it will become?
Am truly sick of our kind of confrontational politics which IMO leads to ridiculous statements like the above.
