I've been in bed since Friday along with 4yr old DC. DH is lovely but yet again has made cold toast. He thinks it's fine to butter it after having made cup of tea. Very grateful for tea and toast but AIBU to say I would like my toast at least warm?

Cold toast, but hot buttered teacake/hot cross bun, to be eaten immediately.

Urrrrgh rank!!! Toast must be piping hot.

My DM used to let it go cold and then butter it as she didn't like melted butter. I can still see those slices of toast propped sadly against the bread bin to cool down to cold slices of boak Sad

Well of course, Scholes. A toasted fruit bun must be eaten while hot.

Another lover of cold toast here, also like it slightly burnt and it has to be buttered when it's cold.
