Is it just me or she looks amazing? She seems to a victim of fit shaming

OP posts:
BillSykesDog · 21/03/2016 09:01

She's just released a fitness app which is being heavily, heavily promoted.

Hi OP, enjoying your marketing agency internship???

VertigoNun · 21/03/2016 09:01

Why follow someone who stands in the mirror taking pictures of themselves? Who is worse narcissis wasting their life admiring themselves or the person watching it happen?

parrots · 21/03/2016 09:06

I find her completely pointless. And to be honest I find both her face and figure pretty unattractive (completely subjective opinion obviously, but she is presenting herself as a sort of physical ideal, which invites responses)

Branleuse · 21/03/2016 09:10

wow, she looks really good and strong.

I dont follow her on anything or watch much telly, so i dont know about any grief she gets, but if youre going to be promoted for your looks/body, then I definitely am more impressed with the strong healthy and powerful theme than the purely ornamental bullshit from a lot of slebs

ephemeralfairy · 21/03/2016 09:12

I think she's great.

MorrisZapp · 21/03/2016 09:13

I've just Googled her, oh dear. She isn't just a fitness instructor is she, she's a low rent 'glamour' model specialising in pushing her tits and bum out in countless Lads Mag style shoots.

It's a bit dated really. Ah well, good luck to her.

Thefitfatty · 21/03/2016 09:25

Runningupthehill82, I've read some of her "articles" for the Daily Mail before. They're a bit simplistic. Kind of like, you can look like me with just 30 minutes of weight lifting a day (if you lift 3 times your own body weight for 100 reps in a row) and you can still have the odd drink (gin with sugar free tonic and a quarter of a lime, but only one and only one every 3 months). Personally they didn't inspire me, but I'm sure she convinces some people that it would work or that it's actually achievable for someone who doesn't do it as a living.

I've a friend whose 37 with 2 boys under 5 and she just competed in a bodybuilding competition. She made no secret of the fact that she spent hours in the gym and really restricted her diet. I found her moaning about how much she hated chicken breast and never wanted to see brown rice again more inspiring to be honest LOL!

Totally not trying to start an argument or anything, I'm just bored at work and feeling like chatting on the interwebs.

Roussette · 21/03/2016 09:29

I think she looks absolutely amazing and as fit as a butcher's dog.

However, it is extremely boring to keep seeing all these selfies, they pop up anywhere and everywhere. It's obvious her figure is amazing, we don't need showing all the time. yawn.

I'm not sure I would call her figure inspirational - it's so far from a lot of women's figures and almost unattainable, I would call it demotivating in my case. --reaches for another biscuit-

BitOutOfPractice · 21/03/2016 09:33

I wouldn't recognise Chloe Madeley in a line up of one

Runningupthathill82 · 21/03/2016 09:33

Thefitfatty - Ah well, she sounds like a tool then. Fair enough!

EponasWildDaughter · 21/03/2016 09:45

This sums it up for me

Surely the most boring , self centred , irritating basement Z lister out there. Jeeze , this utter drivel is just trash !! Go get a normal job and stop pretending.

holdonfor1moreday · 21/03/2016 10:53

Ha I wish I was an intern and paid to be be here!

Just googled the app, 1000 downloads and 10 5 star reviews on the first day it was out., now that's PR!

OP posts:
MsBojangles · 21/03/2016 12:10

Lol, 'fit shamed', I've heard it all now!

Must everyone be afforded victim status these days?

MitzyLeFrouf · 21/03/2016 12:17

I wonder what Judy thinks of Chloe's 'career' of posing in her scanties to show off her muscles. Bet she does a major eye roll, the kind she used to save for Richard.

MitzyLeFrouf · 21/03/2016 12:19

Also I have to say, if I could click my fingers and have my ideal figure it definitely wouldn't be a muscular one. I always think these people look better in the 'before' pictures.

Roussette · 21/03/2016 12:20

Judy has said she can't quite understand her daughter's obsession with selfies!

curren · 21/03/2016 12:27

I don't compete. But find competition season mentally exhausting, because of the above, as most of my friends do.

5am phone calls because they dreamed they ate a donut. Hmm

MorrisZapp · 21/03/2016 12:28

Five star reviews you say OP?

But of course you're not trying to promote it...

Thefitfatty · 21/03/2016 12:29

LOL curren. Tell me about it! Although she finished she baked an amazing Ritz peanut butter chocolate cake thing that we all devoured! AMAZING.

curren · 21/03/2016 12:32

thefitfatty post comp treats are the stuff dreams are made of! Grin

PirateSmile · 21/03/2016 12:32

I find her completely pointless

What a disgusting thing to say about another human being.

WorraLiberty · 21/03/2016 12:37

Is she really almost 30? Shock

Blimey I feel very old now. In my mind, I still thought she was a teenager.

Divathecat · 21/03/2016 12:38

Give the girl a break, she is trying to do some sort of Celeb Fitness career thing, she must be putting a lot of hours and effort into her fitness.

Honestly she would struggle in the normal career world due to her having famous family. Can you imagine her trying to sell a Cisco network solution for example, everyone would be asking if she was Richard and Judy's daughter rather than listening to the tech solution.

SaucyJack · 21/03/2016 12:45

I don't mind her.

I think the gym bunny look suits her, and she could be doing a lot less with her life than trying to launch a career as a zeleb fitness model/trainer.

Divathecat · 21/03/2016 12:47

up thread someone mentioned Doughnuts and fitness, there are some sporty types that believe that a high fat diet works well with a life of a lot exercise with weights. Personally I like the high fat part of this regime but not the latter.
