If a teacher was bullying your child, but the teacher was incredible and really also opened up opportunities for your child - what would you do? :)

How can a teacher who bullies your child also be incredible?

CaptainCrunch · 20/03/2016 20:02

The two aren't compatible, your question doesn't make any sense.

wheresthel1ght · 20/03/2016 20:02

Depends if it is actually bullying or trying to motivate the child in a way the child doesn't like. And also who had told me it was bullying

But first port of call is always a calm chat with the teacher to find out what is really happening

Bickwood · 20/03/2016 20:04

If you'd witnessed it (based on a tv show maybe!)

acasualobserver · 20/03/2016 20:05

Sounds like "Whiplash".

Vintage45 · 20/03/2016 20:10

So I think you're saying that the teacher is horrid to your child but people are telling you that the teacher is marvellous at the subject?

Your child will not learn if being bullied.

Vintage45 · 20/03/2016 20:11

Ok, got the gyst now. Its a TV programme or film for a reason. Its not REAL!

Bickwood · 20/03/2016 20:22

Except it's reality TV Wink

OP posts:
MaidOfStars · 20/03/2016 20:25

Oh FFS.

Vintage45 · 20/03/2016 20:42

Of course it is Grin Is there a need to tell you "reality" tv isn't real?

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 20/03/2016 20:50

A teacher who bullies a child would never give them opportunities.

I don't how the word incredible would even come into it

Bickwood · 20/03/2016 21:04

Yeah but the reality here is real, obviously I appreciate some things are staged. Not sure what the ffs is for though.

Bickwood · 20/03/2016 21:21

Embrace the DMs love :)

I probably take it waaaay too seriously!

OP posts:
twelly · 20/03/2016 21:21

Really depends what you mean , bullying tends to be an overused phrase so unless the actual instance is clear it is difficult to give a view

sizeofalentil · 20/03/2016 21:43

Like Severus Snape?

GooseberryRoolz · 20/03/2016 21:45

It's hypothetical but it's TV but it's real?

It's a teacher but it's dance?

Confused
