More of a rant. Finally got both babies down for their nap, trying to nod off myself on the sofa when suddenly I hear shouting and cheering loudly from outside. Half marathon running past house and bloody neighbours out there cheering them on. No fucking sleep for me

Why are people running for fun, and why are people cheering them?!?!!

"Run" and "fun" are two words that simply don't belong in the same sentence unless there's a big fat negative in the middle, IMO.
