To leave a note for the driver of my pending Yodel delivery

Whenever Yodel deliver they basically knock and run, I'm pretty light on my feet and a few times have had to chase them out the door.

I live in a townhouse with 3 sets of stairs, short of camping out on the doorstep would it be unreasonable of me to leave a note stating I am in, it takes longer than 5 seconds to get to the front door so please don't knock and run?

Yodel are grade A fucking useless. Don't bother leaving a note. In the unlikely event that they actually read it, your instructions will be ignored.

I have an old wooden parcel box with a hinged door attached to the wall in the porch. They always seem happy to use it, even when the deliveries are supposed to be signed for 😄
