And finally I know you are not your husbands mother (well I hope you are not) but Don't get why he wouldn't do something for mothers day from younger children (even if you are separated)

I don't think anyone who is questioning who Kayne is, is doing themselves any favours. The OP clearly meant Kanye West, and you'd have to have been living under a rock to not know that, either that, or you're being deliberately obtuse to make the OP feel bad.

I agree with agree with those who say there are lots of different views on here. Sometimes it feels like a consensus on some issues. Sometimes there is a consensus, on basics like not being rude and not expecting favours just "because".

Equal leisure time between partners is a consensus that seems very sensible.

At other times, you will have two fairly similar ops with completely different responses. This could be because of who happens to be on at the time or because of the way the OP has a expressed the problem.

I disagree with somethings that you might call a mumsnet orthodoxy. I think parent and child parking spaces are a positive thing for example. But I don't think that means I don't fit it, I think it is fine to disagree.

As pps have said, key is for everyone to express themselves with courtesy and respect for the views of others. Except when someone really needs to ftfottfsofafosmwygt.

We actually have spare unopened loo brushes in the cupboard in case of a loo brush emergency.

I think from previous threads we worked out that we're all quite different, with different interests and opinions. If you cannot fit in somewhere so diverse, I do wonder how you manage in real life.

Sometimes, when everyone does come together (not literally ) It is a thing of beauty - like on the 'imperfections' media request thread.

I disagree with loads of stuff people say on here, I'm working class for a starter and relatively low earning compared to some so posts about au pairs, nannies, quinoa etc have no relevance to me but it's still interesting and I like to 'meet' different people with different backgrounds.

I think to be so dismissive and assume you're so different or special is a bit ignorant tbh.
