I'm fully aware I'm being a pregnant hormonal bitch.

Iv had the flu all day and last night. Dp went to his mums house to sort out some of his old stuff. He texted me at 4 saying he doesn't want to be back late as he wants to cook tea. Fine, I didn't cook myself anything and sorted the kids out.

He walked in at 7 with some food for himself from his mum, made his own tea and than sat and ate it next to me. Before he even had said hello!!

I'm so upset. I'm hungry, poorly and pregnant.

😩😩😩😩

So Iv stormed off upstairs and he hasn't even asked me what's wrong.

I don't understand why he's done that? It's a really shitty thing to do? Have you asked why? It just makes no sense if he isn't generally a bit of a bastard.

Why on earth would you dismiss your perfectly valid feelings about this complete lack of thought on his part as being down to hormones? And that's before he's made it all even worse by ignoring you when you've told him how you feel.

You're carrying his child, ffs. The least he could do is to make sure he helps you out by feeding you.

MistressMerryWeather · 09/03/2016 20:41

That's a bit harsh Bibbity, there's no need.

I get you're just having a moan here Stressed but I get why people are saying it's strange.

Do you often just not talk to each other without knowing exactly why?

LumpySpacedPrincess · 09/03/2016 20:53

You are pregnant but that doesn't mean that you are a hormonal bitch.

He is behaving like a moron, why is he being so unkind?

TheoriginalLEM · 09/03/2016 20:56

That is truly horrible :( Does he usually do things like this>?

TheoriginalLEM · 09/03/2016 20:57

Wow Bibitty - your the MIL aren't you?? Hmm

fuzzpig · 09/03/2016 21:11

MissBeaHaving · 09/03/2016 21:31

I would ignore him right back with this behaviour.

I remember your other thread, did he do this knowing of your concerns?

Goingtobeawesome · 09/03/2016 21:36

The Minimising starts.

JanetOfTheApes · 09/03/2016 22:15

You don't get the flu for less than a day, and if you actually had flu since last night there is no way you would be either cooking or eating pizza. Bit of a cold, you have?

If you told me you had flu I wouldn't have planned dinner for you either. I would have made soup for tomorrow maybe, and offered lemon and honey

UnderTheGreenwoodTree · 09/03/2016 22:21

It's funny, because I was going to post that I was surprised nobody had posted 'you wouldn't be hungry if you had real flu!'. Wink

OP - did your dp offer soup or lemon and honey?

JanetOfTheApes · 09/03/2016 22:24

I'm surprised too, since its true!

UnderTheGreenwoodTree · 09/03/2016 22:27

Grin yes, but not helpful. Brew

Champagneformyrealfriends · 09/03/2016 22:29

I was going to ask whether you had real flu or "flu" as in a cold. People with flu aren't capable of leaving their bed afaik.

He is unreasonable though.

JanetOfTheApes · 09/03/2016 22:31

Kinda helpful actually, since he might well have thought: X said she has flu, so obviously I don't need to factor her in for dinner tonight. You know, like a normal person would if their partner actually had the flu.

More likely he's a dick, but still.

UnderTheGreenwoodTree · 09/03/2016 22:35

I'm just wondering the AIBU from his pov.

"I went to me man's tonight, and she cooked me dinner to take home with me. DP was at home looking after the dc. I got back and ate me dinner on the sofa, she stormed off upstairs. She's pregnant and hormonal. I'm not speaking to her now, I'm just going to lie on sofa - AIBU?'

... Several posts later - dripfeed 'to be fair I did say I'd cook dinner for her tonight.'

....Several posts later still... "well she reckons she's got flu, but it's just a cold'

Smile
UnderTheGreenwoodTree · 09/03/2016 22:36

More likely he's a dick, but still.

Yeah, I'd say so Grin

Vintage45 · 09/03/2016 22:37

You certainly picked a winner there then didn't you OP.

ginagiraffe · 09/03/2016 22:51

That's outrageous i'd be soooooo angry i'm actually angry jut reading that lol!

Hope he realises how rude that was and apologises and makes it up to you darling xx hugs

Valentine2 · 09/03/2016 22:52

Kick him. You are totally entitled and he has asked for it.

Jelliebabe1 · 09/03/2016 22:53

For god's sake why didn't you say where's mine?

Mommasoph30 · 10/03/2016 11:57

He sounds like a prize Twat? Why hasn't he asked you if you have eaten and he messaged you saying he would cook tea so you expected tea?

You both sound like you need to communicate more, but he sounds like a right selfish idiot!
