Just searching for something for Sunday and come across designer bouquets. Wtf does it even mean?

Am I being stupid ?

They are double the price!

Anything that doesn't come from the supermarket and for which the stupid can be persuaded to part with more money?

JellyBaby26 · 03/03/2016 17:04

Mann yes I thought this was the case.

I now think I'm being stupid for ordering a bouquet for £22 online when I have just seen an Aldi advert where they are only a tenner....

Normally when a prestigious florist does them they're called "designer", or someone who had done extra artistic training/uses especially high quality flowers.

BennyTheBall · 03/03/2016 17:17

I'd rather pay a bit more and have nicer flowers. Cheaper bouquets tend to have things in I hate like carnations or chrysanthemums.

Yes, I am a nightmare to buy flowers for!

FeliciaJollygoodfellow · 03/03/2016 17:21

Fuck. You just reminded me I've forgotten to order flowers.

OnlyHereForTheCamping · 03/03/2016 17:45

Arses I forgot too

I sent my mum and my MIL (H asked ever so nicely if I would) an Amazon voucher each. That solved the hiked up flower price problem!
