Reading the threads and sometimes the usernames are very funny! Mine is exceedingly dull; I'd just found out I was pregnant and had a question for the pregnancy board - hence being scared and new.

Tonight (whilst waiting for said baby to go the F to sleep!) I am laughing at needascarfformygiraffe.

Being a Shakin' Stevens fan inspired my username. I've been a fan since 1980 and had to endure ridicule from many people!

I was a massive Star Trek fan so I picked this obscure character from Voyager. I like it because it has double meanings to me, I also like to think of myself as having a positive charge.

Mine is from my favourite Ladybird book as a child. But I like the nns Maidofstars, Fanjoforthemammaries and Dawndonnaagain. Hopefully I've dispelled them all correctly.

Another Pratchett one. My theatre company are doing Wyrd Sisters later in the year and I'm angling to play Magrat

It's a running joke from the classic early 2000s comedy Coupling. Basically if a man doesn't take his socks off before his trousers, he's missed the sock gap and he's "a naked man in socks" - still makes me laugh 15 years later!

Before this I was TastesLikePanda, A play on the assumption that every white meat tastes like chicken. What if it actually tasted like something else? Something so unusual that nobody should know what it tastes like? Also, DH had a shirt 'advertising' panda burgers with the slogan "they're not just rare, they're almost extinct!"
