We have a Sheila Maid one that was bought on-line. It works very well.

Lakeland also do one.

Make sure you know where some joists are above to fix it into. They are heavy when loaded up with clothes.

We have one from a local shop. www.locksmithcentral.co.uk/locksmith/269060/edina-lock-and-key-co-ltd It's wonderful and dries a full load of washing more or less exactly in 30 hours. Wouldn't be without one, although tbc I wouldn't buy the one I have as the poles don't attach to the frame so I had to do something Heath Robinsonesque with string.

Good point Fresh about the joists I hadn't thought of that!

Thanks

We have an 8 foot 4 lath Sheila Maid on the landing and a 2 tier 6 foot airer (as pictured) in DD3's room. I wouldn't be without either. No tumble dryer and we're in a very wet part of Scotland so they're essential. Definitely fix into joists or it'll soon come crashing down.v
