Broken rib and work

First time on AIBU. Please be gentle. Not least because I have broken ribs.
Accident. Broke ribs at weekend. Went in to work on Monday. Passed out in pain and was sent home. Pain is actually getting worse as the week goes on.
Can work from home very effectively and have been told my colleagues not to come in. BUT... Feel hugely guilty about taking time off for something that was my fault (for being clumsy), bored out of my skull (although I'm working, there's a lot of Jeremy Kyle on the TV!)
AIBU to just suck it up, get on the tube and go in tomorrow? Or shall I sit amongst pillows and feel enormously annoyed?

If you need ibuprofen or even naproxen they can give you a pill to protect your tummy too. I broke a vertebrae recently and 500 naproxen am and pm a d 3x30/500 x 2 codeine kept me comfy for the first week. Four weeks in the naproxen was better than the codeine. So, get something to protect your tummy. I wimped and had two weeks off x

Thanks Beaufort. Already on lansoprazole. Think I just need to double up.
