We are looking for a new sofa for our new house. I'm happy to go with leather but my husband has chosen this. He loves it. I think it looks like a huge turd! Please tell me it's not just me.

You cannot have that in your house - no way! It's the ugliest sofa I've ever seen - even ignoring the shit colour! (It would look just as horrendous in white!) Who makes a sofa like this? Who DESIGNS a sofa like this? He/she must have been having a really shit day!

No! No! No! If your husband insists, tell him to find a flat somewhere and take this piece of shit with him. Grounds for divorce!

Showed the sofa to my DH who also agreed instantly it looked like poo. And generally horrible and uncomfortable. We've got a nice cream leather sofa coming from sofaworks this week...

LOL I believe Social & Child Services would get involved. Just think how traumatised your children will be, 1) because Daddy leaves a big turd in the living-room, 2) SS & CS have intervened & taken them away because of unsanitary environment & 3) their parents have seperated because of same!

Leather sofas are great if you have kids (they are wipeable), but that looks like it's got a lot of crevices, which would be full of crumbs within days.

If you're going to have a sofa like that, you need to go for the real deal like this:

We have one in a sort of dark red colour in the study. Very comfortable!
