Because "having a cheeky glass of wine" sounds better than admitting you are borderline suicidal, and alcohol is the only thing you live for.

Or is that just me....?

Cutecat78 · 20/02/2016 16:55

Haha saucy - I guess it sounds less Luke a serious alcohol problem and like it's just the one!!Grin

The teens are always on about a cheeky Nandos. I just ignore them.

Fortunately nobody else I know uses 'cheeky'.

rainbowunicorn · 20/02/2016 16:58

I hate this almost as much as the idiots that write naice sounds bloody stupid and makes them look daft.

Sallystyle · 20/02/2016 17:18

Yes, naice is just as stupid as 'cheeky'

Dirty KFC and Dirty burger is also a thing.

WorraLiberty · 20/02/2016 17:20

Or a 'naughty' slice of cake.

Fuck off immediately.

DraenorQueen · 20/02/2016 17:27

Reminds me of the two braindead women on the Maltesers adverts who go on about how norrrrrty they are.
Die.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 20/02/2016 17:30

Oh I like cheeky Sad.

ShamefulPlaceMarker · 20/02/2016 17:47

dreanor i'm trying to figure out if they are the same person?

NeedACleverNN · 20/02/2016 18:01

Cheeky Vimto is its cocktail name not a saying.

And it's called that cos despite it being alcohol it tastes like a Vimto drink.

Everything else though no yanbu

HelpfulChap · 20/02/2016 18:03

Ds1 (23) uses 'norty; for anything rather good, drives me insane. also going out for an alcohol infused session is referred to as 'sending it' DH and I drive him mad by saying 'we are sending it tonight son' whilst opening a bottle of wine Grin

CooPie10 · 20/02/2016 18:13

Yes can't stand the 'naive' too, makes the user sound thick and not as clever as they would like to think.

CooPie10 · 20/02/2016 18:13

Naice
