It's not just his Adonis like face, but his enthusiasm for everything! If any of you have been watching his bbc show on Greece, that scene with the Syrian refugees had me in bits. He manages to connect with everyone he interviews, and I loved watching him keep a straight face when interviewing a 79 year fisherman wearing a tshirt emblazoned with marijuana leaves.

DP is entirely sympathetic to my crush, in fact I think he rather shares it...

I haven't seen any of his programmes or heard of him before this thread, but a quick Google has shown me that YANBU!

MozzchopsThirty · 14/02/2016 20:58

Oh I find him soo boring!
He can make the most magical places dull

I love him too, I like the way he shows the beauty but talks about the society and the politics.

EnglishGirlApproximately · 14/02/2016 21:04

YADNBU - he's lovely. The tears about the Syrian refugees last week had me bawling.

RicStar · 14/02/2016 21:08

Yanbu. Pretty sure he has a portrait in his attic somewhere aging though... otherwise how?

MissMillament · 14/02/2016 21:09

YANBU at all. I loved the Greece programme. He has a fantastic ability to empathise with the people he interviews while still staying objective. And he is cute.

GreatFuckability · 14/02/2016 21:09

I'd never heard of him, but google shows me a very beautiful specimen!

charliedontsurf · 14/02/2016 21:11

I love him and totally agree with you OP! His shows are fascinating.

BaskingTrout · 14/02/2016 22:05

I met him once. He is equally lovely in real life and a very nice chap.

kerstina · 14/02/2016 22:07

I love him too . He would be my ideal man ! Intelligent, caring, warm, funny, charming and just my type . Have loved all the travel programmes he has done , as you say he really connects with people .

yoyoyoy · 21/02/2016 12:35

I first saw him when he made a series about the 'Stans'(Uzbekistan etc)and decided then that he was a)drop dead gorgeous and b)made really interesting travel documentaries . Each new series just confirms both of these facts
