To ask them to move their van? (A parking one, possibly quite petty)

Next door are having work done. Neighbours are lovely, but are out at work. Contractor has parked halfway over the drop kerb part of my drive, and directly behind my car. The rest of my drive is open (another car width) so I can technically still get out if I do a 5-or-so point turn and bump one side down over the raised curb. Thing is, I really don't like doing this, I've only been driving 4 months so I'm far from being an experienced driver (yet!) and the last time I did this I scraped up the bottom of the bumper. Again, because of their van.

So can I reasonably ask them to move their van a bit (there's raised curb space at the other end, won't be blocking anyone else)? Or am I just being fussy and should I just woman-up and manoeuvre the car out?

Tell them to move it. It doesn't matter how easy/hard it is to get your car out they shouldn't be parking over a dropped curb.

Just ask them to move. I've had to ask our builders 4 times to move their van when they've blocked me in. They should know the Highway Code and know where they are not supposed to park.

YANBU Just politely ask them to move.
