My dad assures me he has tonight's winning ticket for the euromillions, theres a house I love locally but its not for sale. I'm sure if I ask nicely offer a stupid amount of money they'll sell won't they?

Your Dad and DH are totally out of touch with reality. If the Television has taught me one thing, its that rich people can do stuff like this, and they;' be really grateful for a big fat cheque. It would probably arrive just in the nick of time to save them from bankruptcy or some shit.

I love a house near me - looks 1930 ish, could see Poirot there. It has lovely frosted glass over the original front door. When I get the jackpot I'm off round there telling them to start packing lol

Notime AIBU to deserve your future new house more than you do? I do think you should even go further and buy it for me. I love it. No window seat ladies and gents. I would like to spread my legs, fart and walk naked with no intrusion.

Op,on serious note, if you do win go and knock on the door and ask. We had someone who knocked on our door and wanted to find out whether we would like to sell. She wanted to get her child in the school nearby. We have also had letters through the door with only telephone numbers asking. We get a lot of estate agents stating they have parents who wants to buy a house on our road. So yes when the time comes don't be a shame to knock on the door.
