AIBU....to give (as wedding favours), bags of flour.

I am getting married in a Windmill.

Same sex wedding (not that it matters).

Have hunted high and low for wedding favours.

I think a bag of flour from the mill, in a nice bag, with a recipe for an easy loaf, is ok.

Would you all make a face??

I think it's a great idea! Just don't put the salt in with the yeast. It kills it.

Lynette, it depends. I've been to a couple of water-powered mills, but I don't go in the milling area itself if they're milling wheat. I've been in one or two that are corn (maize) mills.

I don't do bakery tours either. Got glutened once doing that.

I'd like the idea of a windmill but I'd be getting the heebie jeebies about weevils. We had weevils and they took so much to get rid of.
Not everyone is a paranoid Pete like me though. The idea someone had of making them into the place setting with a name tag was very sweet.
