I have been in a senior position for over twelve years. I am used to making decisions and following them through.
There is now a new structure, which I am part of. The problem is, the four people above me want to make every fucking decision themselves. I have spent several hours trying to work out a solution to an issue in the last week - today one of them has suggested a different totally unworkable way. They didn't come up with this when I asked for ideas last week, which might have saved me some hassle. I'm now expected to redo the lot.
AIBU to think there is sod all point thinking for myself when it is only going to be overturned?
