To think no man wants a designer vagina

I've been watching the GC go on about hers and apparently this is a thing these days that many have done. But surely no sane man would ever want such a thing?

under ha or maybe I should stop attracting sexual deviants?

BettyBleue · 21/01/2016 22:44

From my experience, men prefer au naturel. They really don't care what the helll it looks like as long as it functions as it should!. I really don't think women should be having surgery down there unless it's absolutely necessary.

bakingdiva · 21/01/2016 22:49

I try to claim I have a designer vagina, but that's only because of the 2nd degree and urethra tears that had to be stitched.....does that count?

Whoknewitcouldbeso · 21/01/2016 22:49

I imagine in the case of Gemma Collins she would be better served concentrating on her personality and keeping a healthy weight than focusing on her labia. Most men in my experience don't get too hung up on the aesthetics of a vagina.

ExasperatedAlmostAlways · 21/01/2016 22:49

Under I definitely dont think men feel the same looking at a vagina as women do a scrotum, infact all my male friends and exs and husband find them a massive turn on and love to look at them. Which I don't quite get myself.

I think she must of felt a bit self conscious in herself about it. And if it makes her feel more confident in future then good for her. The story about wanting to be a virgin I think is totally made up as a reason to why she done it.

AyeAmarok · 21/01/2016 22:50

I agree, I think women who get this surgery with the expectation that men will 'want' them more will be disappointed.

Ultimately, it's not going to make much difference to how a guy feels about you or treats you.

There'll be a few men who it would make a difference to, I'm sure, but they aren't men I'd want to have anything to do with, designer vagina or not.

7Days · 21/01/2016 22:51

Maybe I'm daft, but why would you want a designer vagina 'for yourself'? What difference would it make to youwhat it looks like? As long as it functions & feels good

But then I don't get the notion of 'doing it for myself' when it comes to looks of any sort. I do feel good when I look nice but I can't divorce that from the fact it's other people who respond/approve/run away screaming from me. There's nothing wrong with dressing etc to impress and look well, imo, but surely that's other people's eyes, not your own feelings.

It's late. I'm inarticulate. But I've never understood it

pookamoo · 21/01/2016 22:54

Not the young Maori women, then? roundandround

luchadragon · 21/01/2016 22:54

7days, my cousin felt really, really self conscious about the way her vulva etc looked. She never lost her virginity until 26 because of it.

I think because women don't often see each other naked, some people only have Porn to measure themselves against and well it's not giving a realistic image of how much women vary. So that can lead people to feel self conscious about their appearance. Its sad.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 21/01/2016 22:57

Why are you watching such crap OP?

Get yourself onto Netflix and watch White Collar or Person Of Interest.

Designer Vaginas? Can't wait till the knock offs start appearing Confused

HoneyDragon · 21/01/2016 22:58

The barbie effect on a vagina wouldn't be fun for anyone.

Although no pregnancy worries.

Darvany · 21/01/2016 22:59

So what if one's ladybits become a bit more frilly?

I've been having an idle google and the only suggested surgery for men is an enlargement. No 'male genital de-fucking-grimifier', just make it BIGGER. That'll sort it.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 21/01/2016 23:00

Hey HoneyD

Barbie effect?

ChampaleSocialist · 21/01/2016 23:00

You win this Wine Flowers Star [twinkly tiara]

Now go lord it about over everyone else.

ExasperatedAlmostAlways · 21/01/2016 23:01

Dawn I remember my health visitor telling me off after my first daughter when I was nineteen because I had my pre pregnancy jeans on (they did fit I didn't need to squeeze into them) she said the advice to wear comfy and loose fitting clothes after birth was because it makes u automatically use all our muscles to hold our tummy muscles in and our pelvic floors pulled up. Which restrengthens the muscles but if you wear jeans there's a risk because they hold you in tight and make you feel secure, you won't use those muscles and they wont tighten.

I think Gemma Collins has felt a bit insecure compared to the other girls on Towie. She's repeatedly tried and failed to lose weight. So if she has been feeling down and insecure about her genitals, it's something she can pay without any effort to be improved (in her mind) to try make herself feel better.

Tartyflette · 21/01/2016 23:02

There are some women who are extremely unhappy with the appearance of their vaginas, and have had surgery to 'trim' dangling labia but mostly because it is also giving them problems with discomfort and so on. Once saw an eye-wincingly graphic tv doc about it.

7Days · 21/01/2016 23:05

But why does the look of your genitals make you feel better? It's about being judged. It is sad.

HoneyDragon · 21/01/2016 23:06

^ up thread Zing, Darvanny suggested it.

Vaginaaa · 21/01/2016 23:10

Probably because it's been drummed into women's heads that a fanny looks this certain way and theirs doesnt look like that at all so they feel like there's something wrong with them. People like fitting in even if it's something other people are unlikely to see or comment on. Humans are weird.

Vixxfacee · 21/01/2016 23:11

It's not about what men want. If your labia are long or different sizes or hang down or uncomfortable then why shouldn't someone be able to fix it?
Does anyone actually have this issue and if so are you comfortable and happy?

Quodlibet · 21/01/2016 23:11

It certainly wouldn't make me feel better having bits of my fanny lopped off.

Darvany · 21/01/2016 23:11

I suggested it would be rubbish, Honey.

Mine has been commented on by health professionals for three decades and has always been complimented on its neatness and elegance Hmm

Never mind the internal goings-on. Oh no. Doesn't matter.

HoneyDragon · 21/01/2016 23:19

The Elegant Vagine.....

Sounds like a Dr Seuss book Grin
