Ok I am doing a course and I got friendly with a guy in my class. Purley platonic may I add. He is hard of hearing and english is not his first language. He can be nice or rude. He walks 8 miles to school and backeveryday as this is his fitness regime. And frequently naps and of course I fill him in. He canbe nice and I did felt sorry for him as my dad has hard of hearing so its tough. But lately he is becoming very disrespectful

the last straw came when he kept sniffing and caught my sleeve of my arm and tried to blow his nose. I gave out to him and he qas like ha ha but your jumper is so soft. Well I ate him I told how dare he

and I dont like it and I didnt like he tried to wear my scarf last week. I told him not to touch my things. And who ever was iny class I said it out straight.

This guy personal hygiene is so bad . Wears the same clothes every dat. I sit beside and a few times he has asked for help.

I just told him im too busy you have to ask some one else I can barly grunt hello to him at the moment

Don't talk to him
Definitely don't help him
If he naps in your class it's his problem

Btw living alone doesn't make a person strange! This guy is just strange.

God I'm so confused. What's the AIBU here?! Is it that he wiped his nose on her sleeve or that she didn't want him to?! Why would anyone ever need a minge wig?!

creamponies · 20/01/2016 22:12

I had severe pancreatitis a few years so im lucky to.

No I just wanted to know if he asks me help will I cave in or be stubborn. I was trying to voice talk on this ph and it came out wrong lol

OP posts:
CaptainCrunch · 20/01/2016 22:12

Keep thinking the op is posting via the medium of a speak and spell.

PippaPug · 20/01/2016 22:12

How old are you? Because your coming across very young - can you speak to your tutor about it? Or your parents?

If it's on your computer it's saved, so you can work at any computer.

Thenightswatch · 20/01/2016 22:14

Trying to understand this thread is giving me a headache Confused

Birdsgottafly · 20/01/2016 22:14

I'd have another private word with the tutor.

I undertook Adult Education as a Mature Student, many years ago and there were Students with personal hygiene issues (and other problems), they were always taken aside and given support.

I'd remain polite to him, but only do what you are totally comfortable with.

You are there to learn, not to support other Students.

sugar21 · 20/01/2016 22:15

Flumplet its obvious

Leelu6 · 20/01/2016 22:15

Ooh can I ask how your pancreatitis was found? Did you have an MRI?

CaptainCrunch · 20/01/2016 22:15

Aw bless you posters actually taking this shite seriously Grin

Hihohoho1 · 20/01/2016 22:16

Indeed Griphook mind you I had a glass reading the handbag thread but must now be drunk as this makes no sense at all. Grin

Leelu6 · 20/01/2016 22:18

Where is the handbag thread, Hiho? You've peaked my interest, AIBU us meh tonight.

PersephonePitstop · 20/01/2016 22:19

Are you both learning English?

Sparklingbrook · 20/01/2016 22:20

I have read it 3 times now but not really seeing how the MN collective can advise on this one.

Birdsgottafly · 20/01/2016 22:21

""Aw bless you posters actually taking this shite seriously grin""

Everyone deserves an answer, even if you don't seem them Worthy enough.

I don't need blessing by anyone, but thanks anyway.

The OP has been posting since last year and this is her posting style.

Birdsgottafly · 20/01/2016 22:21

Deem, not seem.

PaulAnkaTheDog · 20/01/2016 22:22

OP Why do you keep posting about your health problems?!?! Confused

ilovesooty · 20/01/2016 22:22

The OP attracted a lot of comments about her posting style with the last thread she started. Not everyone can use perfect written English.

OP living alone doesn't make you strange as someone said upthread.

creamponies · 20/01/2016 22:23

Thanks all. To be honest I thought at least one of the tutors might pull it up about or even give extra support but in the last few weeks he hygiene gone downhill.
I wont be helping him anymore.

I have stopped since.yesterday but I know he be annoying me.again

Our course will be coming to end soon thank god

OP posts:
rosewithoutthorns · 20/01/2016 22:25

No, you don't have to help him if you don't want to.

creamponies · 20/01/2016 22:30

Well my pancreatitis was the cause of gallstones terrible pain and a ct scan. Mri.
The pre diabetic scares me as my pancreas makes insulin and its been already been dAmaged
due to pancreatitis if that makes sense

OP posts:
Leelu6 · 20/01/2016 22:34

Thanks creamponies

I'm having an MRI too. Doctor says risk of radiation is high so doesn't recommend a CT scan.

Hope you feel better x

rosewithoutthorns · 20/01/2016 22:35

No drinking involved I hope OP :)

Needfinsnow · 20/01/2016 22:36

I suspect by your semi illiterate posts you are also English as a second language!
