title says it all really.... like my dh clean shaven in all departments ; i can't look at any bearded man on t.v etc without thinking of it ergh ! sorry guys 't i with hairy chins i'm sure you are great but it's the fuzz... i'm bu aren't i,? oddly enough i have a couple of friends who have the fuzz and they are lovely people, - flame away !

Whenever my ExH grew a beard I got a horrible rash on my face and it really put me off kissing him - which annoyed him - and I'm afraid that put me off beards generally.

DP has a huge beard. When Im cleaning the bath and find a hair, I've got no idea which area it's from He keeps it in a goatee now from my complaining!

I like a beard! I prefer men a bit hairy. Mmm, manly! The hair isn't wiry and pube-y once it gets past the stubble stage and if it's well cared for.

Beards are amazing and I wish my dh could/would grow one. He never gets past the rough stubble stage.

I don't mind a short neatly trimmed beard. But the full beard with sideburns look that seems to be ever more common nowadays - yuk. I was out at the pub on Friday celebrating a friend's birthday, a guy with said full beard and sideburns was strutting around.. one of those who has to be in as many people's eyeline as possible at all times. So Im guessing its a trendy style to have & there's more to come

A guy I know is lovely but his beard grows downwards almost a foot long. Its clean neat and tidy but still whenever I talk to him all I can think about/see is BEARD. Nothing wrong with being different or setting trends mind you, but this particular one I don't find attractive at all. I hope its not handlebar moustaches next...

I hate beards, regardless of how clean and/or well dressed they are, if they have a beard they are dirty to me.

I hate long beards, short beards And stubble I can deal with, but long beards just gross me out, not sure why... I always think there must be sweat and food and all sorts of dirt in there

When I see a pube style beard I wonder what the man is trying to hide:
a weak chin, funny shaped lips, zits, crumbs.
Whatever it is, it definitely doesn't look sexy.

And while we're on the subject, why is it that some men with dark hair end up with a ginger beard? Does that mean their pubes are ginger as well?

I'm not keen on them, but moustaches without beards are worse. My H currently has a full beard. I only noticed on Friday, he must have been growing it for at least a week as it's pretty long. Just goes to show how little attention I pay to him, I can't have looked directly at him for days before last Friday.

When I worked there was a guy on the team with a short but fairly shaggy moustache and beard. We went out to the pub for a team lunch on a Friday and there was always a scramble for a seat that wasn't directly opposite him because a curry-dipped moustache was nauseating.

I saw a fully-bearded, well-quaffed, tight-trousered, pointy-shoed man today at the museum and I had to try hard not to stare. It was as if he stepped out of those pictures up there. I was fascinated.

Probably because I am from Brighton - hipster ville original, London stole the style from us - I love a beard.

Then again, my dad has one and smooth faces make me feel sick.

Uurrggh. Hate 'em. DH loves watching Fast & Loud on the Discovery channel. Watching Aaron Kaufman's beard, admittedly a sight to behold and something that has probably taken years of cultivation, makes me feel queasy. It looks so dry and crispy it makes me want to smother it in conditioner

Unfortunately, the majority of bearded men I've seen are usually minging or hiding some facial feature they're not happy with, weak chin or zits or they think it will make them look more manly.
Don't get me started on men over 50, who are having a mid-life crisis and think growing a scraggly greyish brown beard will miraculously make them look younger.

We do have sexy men like that here who i must admit turn my head.

The others, i do not judge for spots, bad condition.
If they like it, who cares.

Its not like they rush up to smother me with them.
Not even the good looking ones haha.

I more dislike the tight jeans, with no socks but pointy shoes.
Its not the hipsters in those, its the ... Well we used to call them townies when i was at school.

DH has a beardy friend who rides a vintage motorbike and wears an open face helmet. He takes a comb with him to comb out all the dead bugs that get stuck in it

I hate hipster beards with a passion. Stiick's picture gives me the rage.
