Well I think it looks like it has been applied with care but that they forgot that you should focus on the eyes or the lips........doing both is just too much!!

I think it look nice for a night out or party etc. it's even and the eyeliner is straight etc, not a look I would go for in the day but I like the vamp/ glam look at night when I out!

I think it's the strong eye plus strong lip thing which is dating it.

Never thought hard about it before, but nowadays we are used to seeing more neutrals. You can get a strong, 'made up',party look even with quite neutral colour.

But a bad makeup artist. Seems to have used some tricky techniques, especially with the eyeshadow stopping so exactly at the eyeliner and the gold eyeshadow having such a clean line, however the foundation looks orange in places, the lips have bled, blusher isn't right and the eyelashes look misplaced.
