AIBU?

To not move on the train?

I was on a very busy packed train with my friend and DS. DS was in a sling, we had the buggy and I was feeding him. We were standing by the doors (no one offered us seats!) trying to feed a screaming baby, penned in by others standing. There was no where we could go.

People tried to push past us to get out the doors and nearly sent DS flying. I firmly asked if they could use one of the other doors and I literally couldn't go anywhere. Cue mutterings and dirty looks!

We couldn't collapse the pram there wasn't room to do and as no one had offered a seat we couldn't move anywhere! WIBU to ask them to use another door?

Doubt you can be 5 mins late for lock in.

You're dim if you think a stop 5 minutes away on a train is actually 5 minutes away from the original stop where you needed to be especially if the trains are hourly...

But you do if you have to wait an hour for the next train.

Average uk train carriage length is around 17 metres, not the 5 you quoted.

Op, you are still talking utter nonsense and are somewhat entitled to boot. If you are real, which I doubt you are, I suggest you get a grip. And a can of oil.

Lookee here I have a recurring dream about Aiden and it is pure filth but doesn't take place on a chuffer train. Just as well bacause if a buggy had blocked my way to a monumental screw I'd have kicked it

I could see the other bloody door from where I was standing. You had to walk past seats and there it was. It wasn't 17 metres.

The OP obviously didn't expect the thread to go the way it has and is too stubborn to admit she's wrong.

Does it involve oil sugar? Oil oil (whatever that is) rather than WD40.

So, are you new or a name changer?

Either way 5 minutes away on a train would make you more than 5 minutes late for somewhere you was supposed to be

Ahhh, so that'll be a commuter type train then. Most likely a train of the class 15xxxx type and potentially a class 150 train.

I still don't think I'm wrong because I don't know anyone in real life who folds their buggy or thinks the way you lot do.

I'm assuming that as you can go shopping during the day you don't work. And I wonder if you have ever actually worked as it seems like the whole concept of travelling to and from work (like those pesky commuters do) is rather beyond your comprehension.

Being someone who does work and often has to use trains to attend meetings in and out of London I can honestly say that yes, me going to my meeting and getting there on time is actually far more important than you going on your shopping trip.

I suspect I'm missing loads of posts but I'm afraid I also think you were U

I have a three year old and a 6 week old.... I don't expect others to make allowances in the slightest .... I chose to have my children so I figure out how to travel with them without help if needs be or I don't go

As with disabilities my dsis has a daughter born with glaucoma and a ds with asbergers and has regularly had to make the train journeys in and out of London to visit a famous hospital for dneice and I guarantee she would not have behaved ad you did ... (and trust me I'm not her biggest fan but she would have considered it unacceptable to bog art a train door)

You posted in aibu so everyone answered the question which is yes you were being unreasonable. ... thems the shakes... I'd say take it like a grownup and behave differently next time

You mentioned it OP. Something about you couldn't fold your buggy and wait as it was an hour to the next train.

The 2 stops on my train are 5 mins apart. Ain't a 5 min walk between them.though.

But she has withstood the barrage for nearly 1,000 posts. That's pretty tough.

@Toughasoldboots

I saw guidelines on another site about how to troll convincingly on here. It was advice such as post for a few days before on banal subjects, chuck in a few answers on other random threads and then you're good to go.

Yes moln he likes a drop of the old tea tree oil oil massaged into his firm buttocks, but not too much as he can get slidey.

What she really means us she'll do as she pleases and fuck everyone else.

What if there had been a fire as people were fighting to get out of the other door while you were blocking that one? Or someone in the crush had slipped or fallen?

Rain I didn't say it was an hour.
