I don't wanna go. The baby is asleep on me. I've only got to take them back again tomorrow. What a faff

Yanbu. They'll be fine. Better than fine; they'll have a whale of a time. Eating turkey twizzlers, chocolate custard or whatever the hell they serve in school canteens these days (can you tell I haven't been to one in a while?), using the teachers' wheelie chairs to have races round the corridors. You'd be a cruel not to let them stay there quite frankly.

Seriously though - Does the school have after-school club? Could they go there as an emergency?

Yanbu. They won't even need to change into pjs, and they'll be dressed for the next day.

YANBU. I contemplate this at work sometimes, if I've worked till late. We have showers, kitchen, huge sofa (even wardrobes for coats) and a 24 hour canteen. I could live there if I had to. The thought is depressing though!
