to complain about antibacs being used instead of bleach?

Using bleach is not going to kill off the human race, using antibac cleaners might well, so why do so many people use antibacs and think they are taking the high moral ground?

The bacteria left on clothes and infecting the rest of the wash can cause UTI's, Skin Infections, Pneumonia and spread Viruses.

Sorry if this upsets you, but contained within what ever clothing you are wearing right now, there are many many times more bacterial cells than human ones!

We couldn't get rid of them, it would be physically impossible. We couldn't live without them anyway.

But this manic sustained antibac attack is totally destroying any natural balance or equilibrium, and all the consequences of this are totally unforseeable.

Except that there will be no balance or equilibrium.....

no, that is quite right, the "human" inside your clothing right now is more bacterial cells than human ones, including those in your gut, on your skin, and everywhere else.

Our own skin is full of bacteria.
We even have different types in different places, depending on chemical composition, pH, temperature, etc.

Some research a while ago showed that when drying our hands it was better to scrub (towel) or dry under hot air than to dry under hot air and crub them against each other. It means even after washing there will be loads in the grooves, inside pores, etc.

Can we have a Bleach topic? Seems to be the new MN obsession. Confused

Slutbucket · 10/01/2016 16:30

In that case your argument you shouldn't be using bleach either? You are still trying to get rid of germs. (Although as I have very clumsily and ineptly tried to explain earlier) having some bacteria and germs around is good for our immune systems we can be too clean I see your argument but it's not a bleach against antibacterial cleaners it' the over use of everything that's your argument.

Whose argument?
